Anyone who knows me well, knows I am a self-proclaimed nerd, with geek tendencies. I have a ̷d̷e̷e̷p̷ ̷f̷o̷n̷d̷n̷e̷s̷s̷ ̷f̷o̷r̷, no let's be honest, an obsession with history, genealogy and maps. I've used the terms bibliophile, librocubicularist, "word nerd", "genealogy geek", historophile, taphophile, cartophile and others to describe myself. And quite honestly, my love of reading, history, and maps all work well with my love of genealogy. So, I figured I'd share some of my Goodreads bookshelves. I have a number of genres I love. Romances, historical novels, historical romances (especially Regency and Victorian eras), mysteries, fantasy, paranormal, time travel and even a number of YA series I still go back and read. Even better if you can combine genres, like say genealogical mysteries, or even genealogical mysteries with a bit of paranormal. My TBR on Goodreads is at 2400+ (I mistakenly thought it was over 2800 but realized that was the combined number of want to read books and read books).
Lucy Maud Montgomery's beloved Anne of Green Gables series along with the Chronicles of Avonlea and other Avonlea related series.
Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mist of Avalon Series and Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Chronicles.
